Career Readiness Workshop
YWCA will be hosting a Youth Career Fair on Friday, March 6th.
In addition to the fair, YWCA Quad Cities will host a Career Readiness Workshop on Friday, February 27th, prior to the event at 5:30 pm at YWCA. In partnership with the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, the workshop will help youth prepare to make a strong impression on employers.
Participants will receive guidance on:
• Resume building
• Writing effective cover letters
• Developing thoughtful questions to ask employers
• Professional communication and presentation tips
• Mocking Interviews
This added opportunity ensures youth arrive at the career fair feeling confident, prepared, and ready to engage with potential employers.
