The Village is a place to come together as mothers and share their experiences about the physical, emotional, and mental load of motherhood.
Hosted by the YWCA Quad Cities Empowerment Center, we offer a featured topic for the month. Two separate sessions will be offered to accommodate schedules. Choose to attend one or both.
Each session will provide opportunities to share information and community resources with other mothers, listen to speakers, ask questions, get advice, and help build your “village” of local mothers with children of all ages.
The goal of The Village is to provide a safe space to vent, share experiences, and receive encouragement during tough times. Having a supportive community can make a world of difference and help lighten the emotional and mental load.
The Village is currently on pause for the summer as we take time to restructure the program and prepare for the year ahead.
For more information on how to join The Village, please contact our Empowerment Center at (563) 340-0310 or email Jenna Panicucci at jpanicucci@qcywca.org.
