Teen Parent and Child Education Center

YWCA Quad Cities Teen Parent and Child Education Center

YWCA Quad Cities is there for you, with a compassionate, caring, and comprehensive Teen Parent & Child Education Center. The mission of YWCA is to empower women and eliminate racism. YWCA of the Quad Cities puts the first part of that statement into practice with their Teen Parent and Child Education Center, located in Rock Island High School since 1991. The Teen Parent & Child Education Center program offers daycare help to teen parents to watch their children while they complete their high school education. The program supports young families by providing family and social resources, allowing for the improved mental and physical health and independence of parents and children. Children are provided with age-appropriate activities and developmental learning while allowing their parents to continue to pursue their educational goals.
