COVID-19

YWCA Members & Families

Starting Monday, June 1st, 2020, Illinois will be in Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan. This will allow us to provide care for more children, but we will not be back to our pre-pandemic maximum. We do have availability for current YWCA Families in all classrooms. We ask that these spots are given to families where both parents are working. To check availability, please call or text Tomi at 309.236.4817. Spots will be given on a first come, first serve basis. We will continue to work with modified hours: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
We will still be under strict guidelines from the State of Illinois to ensure that our facility is a safe environment for all. Children will be dropped off a the front desk, and staff members will take them to their rooms. All children must provide a pair of shoes to wear at the center. All children over the age of 2 will wear masks to the extent practicable, and staff will wear them, as well. We ask that all personal belongings (including, but not limited to: toys, books, blankets, etc.) stay at home, with the exception of diapers and wipes. Children will wash their hands upon entry, and there will be no combination of classrooms. We will continue to provide daily health screenings for both staff and children as they enter the building.
Thank you for your patience as we deal with this new and uncertain situation. Please feel free to call the YWCA at 309.788.3479 or email us at qcywca@qcywca.org with any questions. Follow us on our Facebook Page for updates, as well.
At this time, the Fitness Center and Pool will remain closed. We hope to have updates on when they will open soon.

The Iowa Empowerment Center will reopen on Monday, May 18th, with modified hours. The Center will be open for drop ins from 11:00am – 2:00pm for drop in services, or you can call 563.340.0310 for an appointment outside of those hours.
