YWCA Members & Families –
Starting June 26th, 2020, Illinois will be in Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois plan. This will allow us to provide care for more children, but we will not be back to our pre-pandemic maximum. While we have some availability at this time, we ask that these spots are given to families where both parents are working. To check availability, please call the YWCA and ask for Tomi at 309.788.3479. Spots will be given on a first come, first serve basis. We will continue to work with modified hours: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
We will still be under strict guidelines from the State of Illinois to ensure that our facility is a safe environment for all. Children will be dropped off a the front desk, and staff members will take them to their rooms. All children must provide a pair of shoes to wear at the center. All children over the age of 2 will wear masks to the extent practicable, and staff will wear them, as well. We ask that all personal belongings (including, but not limited to: toys, books, blankets, etc.) stay at home, with the exception of diapers and wipes. Children will wash their hands upon entry, and there will be no combination of classrooms. We will continue to provide daily health screenings for both staff and children as they enter the building, which includes taking the temperature of children and parents.
Thank you for your patience as we deal with this new and uncertain situation. Please feel free to call the YWCA at 309.788.3479 or email us at email@example.com with any questions. Follow us on our Facebook Page for updates, as well.
